Application:

For Drum Reeling / Unreeling in Steel Plants, Mobile machines, Cranes, Gantry Cranes, EOT Cranes, Overhead Cranes, Container handling Cranes, Conveyor Belts, Coal Handling System, Material Handling System, Festooning, Stacker Reclaimer, etc.

Specifications:

Conductor: Annealed Tinned Copper conductor having Class-5 flexibility as per IS:8130-1984

 

Separator tape: Polypropylene tape may be provided over the conductor

 

Insulation: Heat Resistant Flexible Heavy Duty Elastomeric compound type IE-1 or IE-2 of IS:6380-1984 namely EPR Rubber

 

Fillers: Synthetic fibre or Natural Rubber provided for strengthening of the cores and proper round shape of the cable

 

Braiding: Cotton or Nylon Braiding provided between Inner and Outer Sheath for strengthening the cable

 

Sheaths: Heavy Duty Heat Resistant Flexible  Elastomeric compound type SE-3 or SE-4 of IS: 6380-1984 namely PCP/ CSP Rubber with HOFR properties (Heat and Oil resistant Flame Retardant)

 

Special feature: Stainless Steel wire rope provided along with EPR insulated cores for supporting the cores from snapping due to  continuous movement of the cable

 

Sizes available: 1.0 sq mm to 400 sq mm from single core to multicore 

 

Voltage grade:  1100 volts

 

Applicable standards:  IS 9968 (Pt-1) ,  IS: 6380-1984,  IS:8130-1984
